SUPPORT YOUTH SNOWBOARDING

Grassroots Progression

Helping the youth get on snow! Providing programs and funding to give opportunities for all the younger generations to get on the mountain. Support from snowboard teams and clubs to individual sponsorships and scholarships for all the little rippers out there.

Elite Athlete Programs

Bridging the gap from amateur to elite and professional levels athletes can be an extremely expensive transition. The Bobby Minghini Foundation helps athletes that have the potential but lack the funding to progress their careers to the next levels.

Community Support
Getting involved in local communities, schools, and resorts to assist in making sure everyone has the ability to get out on the slopes. Programs focus on getting the younger generations on the snow and keeping the stoke alive through all generations.

Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die

Bobby Minghini was born in Snowshoe, West Virginia on June 24, 1986. He moved to South Lake Tahoe, California in 2004 to attend college and pursue his dream to become a professional snowboarder.

Bobby lived to ride. He was a long-time athlete on the ISTC and proudly represented his country as a member of the US Snowboarding Team. He co-founded and operated Tahoe Wakebusters with his brother, Jarod. He brightened everyone’s day with his winning smile and genuine love for people, especially children. Friends always joked that all we need is to “Rent-a-Bobby”.

He said, “If I die tomorrow, I’ve lived the best life ever.” Bobby hadn’t done it all, but everything was on his list. “If your dreams don’t scare you, you are not dreaming big enough.”
